The youth ministry here at The City of Restoration & Deliverance is dedicated to encouraging our Youth in building their minds, exploring their gifts and talents bestowed upon them from God such as preaching, singing, scripture, praise dance and much more. It is through this awareness they will begin to see the limitless potential they have within themselves knowing that their gift has made room for them, not only in ministry, but in this world.
We desire to establish a foundation for building Christian character, morals, life values and proper behavior in our young people. With the encouragement of their Pastors, guidance of the youth leaders and the strength of God, we know their relationship with God will be magnified, the anointing in their lives increased and the Holy Ghost strengthened.
We aim to teach them to build a life long relationship with God, their leaders and fellow communities. Our goal is to give an age appropriate outlook on spirituality and show them their individual importance to God and the ministry.
We strive to equip them with the spiritual weapons they need to assist with keeping the enemy at bay. With the temptations of this world which is trying so desperately to pull our youth of today out of the hands of God, it is necessary for them to know the power that God has placed within them and the tools on how to us it.
This process is only achieved as we provide a place for them to grow in their relationship with Christ by teaching them to hear the Word of God, study the Word of God, participate in church worship, develop the discipline of prayer and to deepen their faith through relationships with other believers, while still maintaining their youth.
This is also why we provide a free space for kids to be kids, by allowing them to have fun, play games and enjoy plenty of group activities making sure they do not feel they are missing anything the new has to offer. Just good, clean, safe fun!
We want our Youth to build each other up and always feel protected, loved and special knowing that their connection to GOD is always there.
